Carter’s 48″ shaped wooden shaft designed to give the tool a longer reach, reducing the need for the user to bend or fold their back when working. Features a “waisted” diameter which allows for easier manipulation of the tool and a “knobbed” end. Overall, a longer shaft allows for longer reach and reduces user strain which could reduce the risk of injury.

The square aluminium mouth is 12″ x 14 1/2″ which provides adequate surface area to lift and carry debris and is open socket fitted.

Ideal for various lightweight general purpose work such as shovelling sand, gravel and earth.
